Naked or Semi-naked?

True naked cakes are stacked sponge layers with buttercream (or filling) in the middle and nothing on the outside. They are less stable, go dry a lot quicker and for this reason are not something we offer.

The semi-naked cake has a thin layer of buttercream around the edge, to keep them more elegant and uniform, to improve their stability and above all keep them as fresh as possible.

Professional Standard

Just because the cake is not covered in fondant. We ensure it looks elegant and finished to a high standard. Whether you choose two, three or four tiers, these cakes look modern, simple, elegant and rustic, but with a sharp and clean finish.

It is worth considering if you intend to have different sponge flavours in each tier, it will make each tier a different colour. You can keep the cake looking consistent and have the same (or similar) flavours for each tier.

The first photo has tiers all in the same flavour, so the cake is all the same colour. The second, has three different colour sponges, but all with the same buttercream. The third has different flavours and different buttercream.

Rustic Wedding Vibes

Semi-naked wedding cakes look beautiful with minimal decoration, fresh flowers or fruits are all that is needed to make these cakes look delicious.

They suit all seasons and look stunning in rustic venues such as converted barns or marquees.

To customise it, you could add a drip, a topper or display it on a beautiful stand.
