Quality Cake Company To Recreate Venezuela Fury Wedding Cake For The Sun Competition Winners
The winners have been announced – and now it’s time for us to make the cake!
Earlier this year, Quality Cake Company was selected by The Sun newspaper as the wedding cake supplier for its incredible £40,000 dream wedding competition, inspired by the wedding of Venezuela Fury and Noah Price.
Now the winning couple have been revealed as Karis Tottoh and Chris Livesy, and we are delighted to be creating their spectacular wedding cake for their big day on 21 October 2026.

From The Fury Wedding To A £40,000 Dream Wedding
The Sun launched its “My Big Fat Sun Wedding” competition following Venezuela Fury and Noah Price’s wedding, giving one couple the chance to win a luxury wedding package worth around £40,000.
Hundreds of couples entered, with the eventual winners chosen by a judging panel led by singer Peter Andre, who also performed at Venezuela and Noah’s wedding.
The winning package brings together many of the suppliers involved in, or inspired by, the original celebration – including Quality Cake Company as the wedding cake supplier.
Meet The Winners – Karis & Chris
The lucky couple are Karis Tottoh and Chris Livesy, who will marry at the beautiful Walworth Castle in County Durham.

Their story made the national press when The Sun announced their win in August.
Karis underwent chemotherapy and radiotherapy following a cancer diagnosis in 2024, with Chris supporting her and their family throughout her treatment. After everything they have been through together, their wedding marks an incredibly special new chapter for them.
We are genuinely delighted to play a small part in it.
And Then There’s The Cake…
This is the bit we’re particularly excited about!
We have been asked to create a version of the incredible statement wedding cake seen at Venezuela Fury and Noah Price’s wedding.
The original cake became one of the most talked-about details of their celebration thanks to its enormous scale, towering tiers and dramatic all-white design.
And when we say enormous… we mean enormous.
Our recreation will stand at around eight feet tall, with multiple extra-tall tiers creating the same huge, dramatic effect.
To put that into perspective, the finished cake will absolutely tower over Izzy, who is only 5ft 2in – so alongside the cake, decorations and delivery kit, we must remember to pack the step ladders!
It is certainly not your average three-tier wedding cake.
Creating A Giant Wedding Cake
Large cakes bring a slightly different set of challenges to a normal wedding cake.
There is the design itself, of course – but also:
- engineering and stability
- creating and decorating exceptionally tall tiers
- transporting everything safely
- assembling the cake at the venue
- making sure the proportions work in a large wedding setting
- and, most importantly, making sure there is still actual cake to eat!
Our team will be preparing the cake here at Quality Cake Company in Tamworth before making the journey north to Walworth Castle for the wedding.
We have created a number of large wedding cakes previously, but this one will definitely be taking things to another level. This is a great fun project for us and what an opportunity to give someone their dream wedding – for FREE!

Being selected directly for a national campaign like this is a fantastic milestone for our little Tamworth cake company.
We have spent years creating bespoke wedding and celebration cakes for couples across the Midlands and further afield, from elegant intimate wedding cakes to enormous statement designs.
To now be trusted with recreating one of the most recognisable celebrity wedding cakes of the year – as part of a national competition – is something we’re extremely proud of.
And perhaps slightly terrified by the size of it!
The Big Day – 21 October 2026
Karis and Chris will finally have their dream wedding on 21 October 2026, and we’ll be travelling to Walworth Castle, County Durham, to deliver and assemble their cake.
Between now and then there is rather a lot of cake engineering, decorating and planning to do. As you can imagine, the shop will be closed on this day!
We’ll be sharing some of the behind-the-scenes journey as the giant cake starts to come together – and, once the wedding has taken place, we’ll update this page with the finished cake.
