Do you offer full Cake Consultations?
As of Autumn 2025, we no longer hold traditional one-to-one wedding consultations. Don’t worry though—consultations aren’t essential, especially if you already know the design you’d like.
We’ve packed our website with useful resources, including our Wedding Cake FAQs and Wedding Cake Jargon pages to answer the most common questions.
We have multiple style galleries to browse through hundreds of our previous designs, allowing you to see our skills and search for inspiration and ideas.
And of course, we’re always happy to chat! You can reach us by email, WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, phone, contact form, or simply pop into the shop.
Isn’t it tradition to have a consultation?
Times are changing! In 2025, out of 110 wedding cakes booked, only 15 couples chose to have a consultation. Most couples now contact us online.
I want to try the cake though….
Absolutely! If you’d like to try our cakes before making a decision, we offer take-away sample boxes you can enjoy at home (perfect with a cup of tea and far more relaxed than a formal meeting).
I have questions about my cake….
That’s no problem at all! We’re experts at answering cake questions. Drop us a message any time and we’ll be happy to help. You’ll also find quick answers to common queries on our Wedding Cake FAQ page.
Can I pop in for a chat in person?
Of course! You’re welcome to pop in any time. If you’d like to specifically speak to Izzy, our wedding manager, just send us a quick message first so we can arrange a time that suits us both.

Something New is Baking!
We are currently in the process of refreshing our sample boxes to bring you an even better tasting experience. We expect our new-and-improved boxes to be ready for order by the end of March.
